Who I am
I’m KRV, a solo web designer building websites for local UK businesses. I’m responsible for the details you send through this website. You can contact me at hello@krvweb.co.uk.
What I collect
Depending on the form, I collect your business name, town or postcode, business type (including any description you type), your name, mobile number, an optional Google listing or social profile link, and any optional message. I also record when you enquire and which form you use.
To manage your enquiry, I may add its status, a follow-up date and dated notes. To prevent spam, the website stores a hashed identifier based on your IP address and browser information, rather than your raw IP address.
Why I use your details
I use your details to build your demo, send the link by WhatsApp or text, answer your questions and follow up about your enquiry. I won’t call unless you ask. I use this information to respond to your request for a service, and to manage enquiries and protect the website from spam.
Where your details are stored
Your enquiry is stored in the website’s protected Lovable Cloud database. Only my account can access the private enquiry page, using a password and two-factor authentication. A short enquiry alert is also sent to my business email inbox.
I don’t sell your details or share them with other businesses for their own use or marketing. The services that run the website, store enquiries, deliver email and send your demo messages process the necessary details on my behalf.
How long I keep your details
I keep enquiry details for 12 months unless we work together. If you become a client, I keep the information needed to provide your service and meet any legal record-keeping requirements. The enquiry retention period also applies to enquiry alerts and follow-up records.
Your choices and deletion requests
To ask for your details to be deleted, email hello@krvweb.co.uk. You can also ask for a copy, correct anything inaccurate, or ask me to stop following up. I may need to confirm your identity before acting on a request. If I must keep a record for legal reasons, I’ll explain why.
If you have a concern, please contact me first. You can also complain to the UK Information Commissioner’s Office at ico.org.uk.
